Nestled in the depths of DTLA, Slut Church, hosted by La Deva Arazel, is not just an event—it’s a visceral, transformative experience. This immersive production beckons those of us who straddle the line between the divine and the profane, inviting us to embrace our shadows and revel in the beauty of the unseen.

When I was invited to join this extraordinary gathering, I had the honor of contributing my craft to their "service," tying guests during the evening’s ceremonies. As part of ensuring a safe and empowering experience, all participants signed consent forms before we began. This crucial step allowed us to establish clear boundaries and foster an environment of trust and mutual respect.

Throughout the night, I guided many individuals through their first suspension, a deeply personal and transformative experience for many. For some, it was a moment of profound self-discovery; for others, it was an opportunity to embrace vulnerability and connect with their bodies in a new way. With each tie and lift into the air, I ensured that every participant felt supported, both physically and emotionally, creating a safe space for them to explore this art form.

Each suspension became a sacred act of trust, intimacy, and storytelling, blending seamlessly into the tapestry of Slut Church’s overarching theme: embracing all facets of our humanity, from the sacred to the sinful.
